A day as Clutch Made's project manager

Updated: Oct 1

Hi! I'm Luane, and today I'll be sharing what a day as Project Manager at Clutch Made looks like :)

As a Project Manager for The Clutch Made Factory, I am involved in a variety of tasks, so every day is a bit different. Even though I'm a creative person who doesn't want to feel stuck doing the same repetitive things every day, having some routine does seem to help a lot. I start most days with a cappuccino and a workout - going to the gym or running at one of my favorite parks. Before having a full breakfast, I also walk my dog Stella for a few minutes.

Work starts at around 9:30 am, and the first task is to review emails for anything urgent. Like I said, every day is different. This morning, I'm working on tech packs for one of our clients, and we're all having our weekly team meeting. Brazilians love a complete lunch, and today I'm having one of my favorite meals: chicken, cuscuz (a cornmeal dish), lettuce, carrots, and bell pepper in soy sauce.

In the afternoon, I try to reply to as many clients as possible. Today I'm also working on social media, talking to vendors, reviewing samples, and preparing for a Tech Pack Consultation. I really enjoy these consultations, as they give me a chance to speak with our clients about their ideas, review design details, show material and hardware options, and explain why we have some of the best tech packs in the business.

I love wrapping up my day with every zelennial's favorite hobbies - painting, socializing with friends, having a nice meal, and watching some of my favorite shows. This week, I'm rewatching Gilmore Girls, which is getting me in the mood for fall.
