Getting started

With your brand's demographic and lifestyle defined, and a rough design idea, the best place to start is with a Tech Pack Consultation. It starts with some homework questions and moodboard for us to get familiarized with your idea, which turns into a 30-40min video call to go over every little detail. Measurements, sizes, design details, materials, and hardware - nothing gets left behind. We cover everything so when it's finally time to get your product developed, we have all necessary information to make the best tech pack for you.

Sample development

Armed with information, we work on a comprehensive tech pack where you can confirm all measurements and design details. When it comes to pet accessories, most styles need a few different sizes so they can work for all pets. We work with you on material sourcing, showing you the available materials and developing custom hardware or custom print materials for your product. Once the tech pack is approved and we have materials on hand, our skilled sample makers will work on a pattern and make a sample.

We recommend working first on a medium sample, or a size that you can test out at home - if you have a Border Collie, maybe start with a medium to large sample so you can see your best friend wearing what you developed for him. Once the sample is approved, we can work on the other sizes that will be available with your brand. Every size gets a tech pack with its measurements and design details.
