There is something endlessly fascinating about what people carry with them each day. A handbag is rarely just a handbag. It becomes a collection of habits memories necessities and little luxuries that help shape the rhythm of everyday life.
As the designer behind Clutch Made I spend a great deal of time thinking about what makes a bag truly useful. Not just beautiful but genuinely capable of supporting the way we move through the world. The bag I reach for most often is a pink metallic crossbody that has quietly earned the title of hardest working piece in my wardrobe.
Its shimmering finish brings a touch of personality to even the simplest outfit. Yet what makes it indispensable is its remarkable versatility.

On a typical workday I wear it crossbody with its comfortable webbed strap. Inside you will usually find my phone wallet lip color keys and a small notebook filled with sketches ideas and spontaneous design notes. It is compact enough to stay light and effortless yet spacious enough to carry everything I need.
When I travel this bag becomes even more valuable. It is often the only bag I bring out for a day of exploring a new city.
It keeps essentials close at hand and transitions seamlessly from morning coffee runs to evening dinners.
One of my favorite details is the detachable chain. During the day it can remain tucked away or worn as an accessory in its own right. By evening it transforms the bag into something entirely different. Suddenly the same practical crossbody feels polished and ready for a night out.

There are days when I remove both the strap and chain altogether and carry it as a sleek clutch. Other times it becomes a cosmetic pouch tucked inside a larger tote while I am traveling. Few accessories adapt so naturally to changing needs.
Designing handbags has taught me that the most beloved pieces are rarely the most complicated. They are the ones that quietly fit into every part of life. The bags that solve problems without demanding attention. The bags that earn their place through versatility and thoughtful design.
So what is really inside this handbag designer's bag?
A few essentials. A handful of creative tools. A touch of lipstick. Plenty of ideas.
And one bag that somehow manages to do it all.
