After seeing a lot of questions around our sourcing capabilities, the team at #clutchmadefactory decided to sit down and write a blog post on one of our favorite steps of the design process. With over thirty years of industry experience, and the best of contacts, alongside our prime location in the Garment District of NYC, we have incredible sourcing offerings from exotic leathers, to vegan and sustainable materials. Perhaps one of the most unique and exciting opportunities are all the ways in which you can customise your accessories in the USA. From laser printing, embossing, embroidery to custom fabrics and more, you can really create a unique and one of a kind American made accessory.
One of our really popular options is creating a custom fabric. Why would our clients decide to go this route? Well because creating a custom fabric creates something you wouldn't find anywhere else. It also is a great way to achieve exactly what you're looking for without trying to compromise on something from somewhere that you aren't 100% happy with. For example, we had a client who wanted a really standard material, but a very specific pattern and width of stripe and colour combination. We decided to take this client along the custom printing path, to develop a stripe with our designers that was exactly what they were looking for. This was an affordable, efficient and beautiful way to truly bring the image in their mind into a tangible and marketable American made product.
