Who is the face behind the branding and marketing of Clutch Made?
Meet Kat Yasuda
Background
Born in Curitiba, Brazil, Kat Yasuda has been passionate about creating ever since she was a child. Her thirst for creativity became the main motivation for her to start her design studies. Ever since she began those studies, Kat has been exploring and applying different fields within the design world, such as Graphic Design, Product Design, Illustration, Surface Design, and Photography. Kat continues working with a variety of brands, developing logos, artwork, and hardware designs relevant to the client’s art direction.
I sat down to talk with Kat to get to know her a bit more and this is what she had to say.....
**Where are you from?
I was born and currently live in Curitiba, the capital of the state of Paraná, in Brazil, but my family comes from Okayama, Japan.
** How would you describe your personality? I consider myself a very curious person who is always eager to learn new things, whether it be through exploring new places, meeting new people, or simply learning about different topics. As a designer, I am constantly exploring unique ideas and learning about new concepts - and that is something that I love to do!
** Can you describe a typical day or week in your job? My day starts officially after I have my first cup of coffee in the morning. I like to read the news and check what’s new in the Design world before I check my task list for the day.
**What is your favorite part of your day? For me, there’s nothing better than the feeling of getting things done and celebrating them by the end of the day. I usually cook or order something delicious to wrap up my day.
**What is your product launch process? Whenever I’m working with clients, and we need to build a social media marketing campaign, I usually start by analyzing their needs and seeing what we can accomplish. It varies from client to client, really.
**What motivates you when working? I like working with different people. It’s very satisfying to be part of someone else’s creative journey.
** Where do you get the most creative ideas? I love learning about art and fashion design. I usually get very inspired whenever I’m looking at works from different designers and artists.
