meet Srishti Dhawan
Born in Delhi, India, Srishti has always loved designing. She has a dual degree in fashion design, graduating Summa Cum Laude from the Fashion Institute of Technology, SUNY, as well as being an award-winning gold medalist from The National Institute of Fashion Technology in India. Designing for Srishti means getting inspired, imbibing, and expressing her emotions within it. When she’s not working, she loves spending time exploring the city streets and enjoys taking
peaceful walks in landscaped parks under the bright sun.
Where were you born and raised ..... New Delhi, India
Do you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert ..... Ambivert. I enjoy spending time with other people, but I also need my time alone.
Where do you like to travel most..... I like exploring and discovering new places - sometimes I even change my location to work from a different place to feed my creativity. But my heart lies in Italy - “All roads lead to Rome”.

Where do you find inspiration for designing...
Amazed by the depths and beauty of nature, I derive inspiration from my experiences of this wonderful world. Whenever I get time, I go out for nature walks and seek design inspiration. The all-pervasive vibration of colors, the intrinsic beauty of the mountains, valleys, and water bodies, and the innate beauty of flowers, vegetation, and creatures make me appreciate the vast canvas of mother nature.
What do you enjoy the most about being a designer...Converting ideas and concepts into reality. Client interactions and learning together with my peers while talking, experimenting, and creating fashion have been exhilarating experiences so far.
Who is your favorite designer and why..... Coco Chanel-because she has rightly conveyed the true meaning of luxury. “Luxury must be comfortable, otherwise it is not luxury,” Chanel’s designs stressed elegant simplicity and comfort which revolutionized the world of fashion.
How do your surroundings influence your design...Traveling and gaining experiences fuels my soul - it broadens my horizons and helps me to design better. Life is an endless journey of experiences. I do hope that I have the courage to explore the unexplored and create new fashion concepts for the world to enjoy and appreciate.
